Let your voice be heard!
Whether it’s sharing your personal story, connecting on social media, or by helping to educate others about stuttering & compassion – you are changing the world for people who stutter.
Help other voices be heard!
Courageous people who stutter have shared their personal stories. Please enjoy these MY STUTTER videos & share them today!
I believe every voice matters. Not some. Not most. Every voice.
Every day, kids who stutter shut down. How many silent kids, hiding in the back row of class are actually brilliant – just pretending not to know the answers because they’re afraid to talk? How many young people are keeping their heads down or not making friends because they are terrified of being laughed at, ridiculed, or bullied for the way they speak?
I started SAY to inspire even the most quiet amongst us to embrace their voices and dreams. Seeing a child give up on communicating is a tragedy that we don’t accept at SAY.
So today, please join me, and everyone at SAY, in celebrating International Stuttering Awareness Day. It’s a day where people around the world pause to recognize the 70 million people who stutter, and it’s my greatest hope that today is a day where every person who stutters faces compassion instead of fear.
