Back to School with Confidence!

As a new school year begins, we know parents, caregivers, teachers, and SLPs are working hard to set students up for success. At SAY, we believe every young person who stutters deserves a supportive community where their voice is always heard. But we also know that school can sometimes be a challenging place for children who stutter.

That’s why we’ve created a free Back-to-School Toolkit—a collection of printable resources you can use and share to help children who stutter feel confident and supported at school.

Explore SAY Programs

In addition to these resources, SAY offers year-round programs for children and teens who stutter, ages 3-18, ranging from speech therapy and creative arts workshops to summer camp and online support. These programs help young people build confidence, make friends, and know their voices deserve to be heard. All creative arts programs are offered FREE of charge. SAY offers sliding scale rates for SAY: Speech and Camp SAY. To date, no child has been turned away from our programming due to a family’s inability to pay. See our programs below:

SAY offers in-person programs in NYC, Washington, D.C., and online, serving the global stuttering community. SAY programs foster a community of acceptance, friendship, and encouragement for kids and teens who stutter, ages 5-18.

SAY’s speech therapy program is led by a licensed speech-language pathologist & board-certified stuttering specialist. SAY: Speech embraces a holistic approach to stuttering therapy that addresses the individual needs and goals of each child.

Camp SAY

Our 2-week, sleep-away summer camp for young people who stutter combines a traditional camp experience with specialized programs and activities that build the confidence and communication skills they need to achieve their dreams.
