Camp SAY: Across the USA – Memphis was BACK!
We are thrilled to return to Memphis this fall to partner with our friends at The Orpheum Theatre Group to welcome young people who stutter from the mid-south region to another Camp SAY: Across the USA! This super-fun, 2-day camp prioritizes connection, collaboration, and community and is absolutely FREE for kids and teens who stutter, ages 8-18.
Camp SAY: Across the USA – Memphis will offer a wide variety of games and activities that encourage communication, creativity, and teamwork. Guided by Camp SAY leadership and the Orpheum’s teaching artists and programming staff, campers will hang out, make friends, and work together on original artistic pieces – short plays, comedy skits, poems, songs, dances, visual art, the sky’s the limit! It’s truly a time of celebration and empowerment in a safe, inclusive space where everyone gets as much time as they need to speak and it is really, REALLY okay to stutter!
