SAY Hall of Fame

The SAY: Hall of Fame was established to honor & celebrate illustrious individuals who, through their courage & compassion, light the way for so many young people who stutter and inspire the very best in them.

Stuttering is a part of who I am, but it didn’t stop me from having two careers that I was passionate about. My challenge was to overcome my inability to communicate, and at some point there were a lot of people who wanted to hear what I had to say.

Joe lights the way for the kids of SAY.

Prior to the SAY Gala, Joe took time to meet with SAY kids and shared insights on his life successes while having a stutter. Joe harnesses the power of words to empower.  He shared with them, the key theme that, “Everything is possible,” encouraging them to push harder.

Joe Moglia so thoroughly embodies the spirit of this award, so on May 22, 2017, SAY was honored to welcome him as the first inductee into the SAY: Hall of Fame.

The following video features Joe’s inspiration and passionate speech, upon receiving his award.

The video features the original song “Light The Way" written for this special occasion by Everett Bradley & Taro Alexander, and performed by Nicki Richards.

I am honored to be recognized by SAY and to help kids find acceptance and belief in themselves. To everyone that stutters, know that we want to hear your voice. You just need to make sure you have something to say.
