Claudia and Mark Negron are dedicated champions for the stuttering community and the mission of SAY: The Stuttering Association for the Young. As the parents of neurodiverse children, Claudia and Mark have turned their family’s journey into a meaningful mission of advocacy. Claudia, an active member of the SAY Board of Trustees, is a Purchasing Leader in the pharmacy industry. She is a fierce advocate for all children—particularly those whose voices are often unheard—and is committed to ensuring every child is seen and valued for exactly who they are.
Mark is a Healthcare Executive and U.S. Army veteran currently serving as a Vice President at the University of Maryland Medical System. In addition to his leadership role at UMMS, he shares his expertise as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at NYU’s Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. Together, Claudia and Mark work to foster a world of total acceptance, where young people who stutter can speak with confidence and belong to a community that celebrates their unique voices.
SAY has supported our children for over a decade, providing a community of total acceptance where they have always been free to be themselves without judgment. We don't just believe in the mission of SAY—we are living proof that when a child’s voice is truly heard, their potential is limitless.
