Camp SAY: Across the USA Brings the Camp SAY Experience to Cities Across the US!
Camp SAY: Across the USA brings our regional mini–day-camp weekends to cities nationwide, extending the magic of Camp SAY beyond our summer program. Designed specifically for kids who stutter, these weekends offer fun, self-discovery, and the chance to build lasting friendships with peers from their own area.
Building on the success of Camp SAY, our life-changing residential summer camp for young people who stutter (ages 8–18), these regional programs bring that same spirit closer to home, year-round.
Every activity is thoughtfully designed around each child’s unique goals and strengths. With stuttering out of the spotlight, kids are free to dive into camp adventures, make new friends, and simply enjoy being themselves.
Upcoming Camp SAY: Across the USA Programs
In partnership with the Orpheum Theatre for Camp SAY: Across the USA-Memphis, this fun-filled Camp SAY weekend is planned for Fall 2026 and Spring 2027. Save the dates for these upcoming camps! Camp times are from 9 AM – 5 PM each day.
At Camp SAY: Across the USA-Memphis, campers will enjoy a variety of exciting activities that foster community, creativity, and teamwork through:
- Art & Performance — Create short plays, comedy skits, poems, songs, dances, and visual art.
- Guidance & Support — Led by Camp SAY staff & Orpheum’s teaching artists.
- Self-Expression — Take as much time as needed to speak and share. Participation is always optional.
- A Celebration of Voices — Empowerment, creativity, and fun in every moment!
We provide campers with a free camp T-shirt, and camp includes all programming supplies, plus breakfast and lunch daily. We can’t wait to see you there.

Our Journey Across the USA
Since launching, Camp SAY: Across the USA has brought our signature camp experience to communities nationwide, giving kids and teens who stutter a space to connect, create, and share their voices without judgment. Past events have taken place in Westchester, New York; Los Angeles, California; Charlotte, North Carolina; Houston; Memphis; Orlando; and Washington, DC, with more cities to come. We’re grateful for every young person, family, and partner who has joined us along the way, helping make each program a chance for campers to build confidence and be celebrated for who they are.

Our 2-week, ACA-accredited sleep-away summer camp for young people who stutter combines an exceptional traditional camp experience with specialized programs and activities designed to build confidence, improve communication skills, and forge enduring friendships.
