The My Stutter Project
For many young people who stutter, it can feel like they are the only ones. The My Stutter Project changes that. The My Stutter Project offers a brave online space for young people who stutter to make friends with others who understand what they’re going through. Participants will use this creative outlet to share their stories and learn new ways of advocating for themselves. This online program offers community, support, and creative workshops for young people who stutter worldwide.
Through guided creative workshops, participants explore storytelling, music, writing, animation, and other artistic forms to express their thoughts and experiences with stuttering. Along the way, they build confidence, develop communication skills, and learn how to advocate for themselves and others. More than anything, The My Stutter Project is about connection. Participants form friendships across cities, countries, and continents, supporting one another, celebrating their voices, and discovering the power of speaking and sharing in their own way.
This program is open to all young people who stutter, ages 8–18, and is offered free of charge. All you need is an internet connection.

The Songwriting Project: Online
The Songwriting Project is SAY’s free, 8-week online program where kids and teens who stutter (ages 8–18) explore creativity and self-expression through songwriting.

Led by SAY’s Artistic Director Travis Robertson and professional actor Danielle Leneé, with musical guidance from Musical Director Everett Bradley and SAY’s Teaching Artists, the program uses music in many forms, pop, rap, spoken word, and more, as a vehicle for young people’s self-expression. No musical background or experience is required to participate, and the program is completely free of charge.
Through songwriting, participants build confidence in their voice, discover new ways to communicate, and learn that stuttering never has to stand in the way of being heard. Along the way, they connect with other kids and teens who stutter, forming a supportive community where they can create freely, take creative risks, and celebrate each other’s work.
Because this is a limited 8-week session, attendance is crucial to its success. We ask all participants to commit to attending every week of the program. Enrollment for the Fall session closes on October 10th, 2026, so reserve your spot now for a September start and get the full benefit of the program. The session will culminate in a live performance of all the original songs in mid-January as a chance for participants to share their songs with friends and family.
Upcoming Dates and Times
Sessions begin September 25th and 26th. All sessions are free and currently led in English.
