Celebrating 25 years of SAY
For 25 years, SAY: The Stuttering Association for the Young (formerly Our Time Theatre Company) has offered innovative, life-changing programs for young people who stutter, along with vital support for their parents, caregivers, educators, and speech professionals. Here are all the ways we’re honoring that milestone this year!

25 Friends for 25 Years Fundraiser
To celebrate a quarter-century of empowering young people who stutter, we’re challenging SAY community members to share our mission with 25 friends.
Invite your friends to celebrate with a donation in a multiple of twenty-five – $2.50, $25, $250, $2,500, or whatever feels right! Encourage them to follow @SAYorg, learn more about stuttering, and become better listeners along the way.
Every new supporter helps spread awareness. Every dollar helps SAY continue offering life-changing programs without barriers – all available to families on a free or on a pay-what-you-can basis. No child who stutters has ever been turned away for financial reasons, and they never will be.

SAY’s 25th Annual Benefit Gala
We are pleased to invite you to SAY’s 25th Annual Benefit Gala on Monday, May 10th, 2027, at The Lighthouse, Chelsea Piers in New York City! This special evening celebrates the voices, courage, and creativity of young people who stutter, featuring powerful performances and a thrilling live auction—all to raise funds for free, accessible programs for kids and teens who stutter.
This year’s Gala will, for the first time, be black-tie optional and will feature many of our inspiring SAY kids alongside a star-studded cast of our celebrity friends. The gala will include an unforgettable Chefs’ Tasting Dinner Experience, curated by Iron Chef winner and SAY board member Marc Vetri, featuring more than a dozen talented chefs from his network for a culinary experience not to be missed.
Whether you’re a long-time supporter or new to our mission, this is a night where joy and advocacy shine together. The SAY: Benefit Gala is one of our most meaningful events of the year—bringing together our extraordinary SAY family, friends, and supporters to uplift and empower the incredible young people we serve.
