About Stuttering

At SAY, we believe that education about stuttering is paramount in supporting young people who stutter and their families, and in enlightening the world around them!

Learning the facts about stuttering and sharing the firsthand, lived experiences of people who stutter is an important step toward embracing acceptance, building confidence, reducing fear and isolation, and promoting self-advocacy!

Stuttering 101 is a space where children and teens who stutter, their families and friends, and stuttering allies can access accurate and up-to-date information about stuttering and explore the stories and experiences of other people who stutter. It also provides valuable resources for speech therapists looking for comprehensive information about stuttering to inform therapy activities and child and family support strategies.
