We are all human beings who want to be heard, and that means letting everyone have as much time as they need to speak!
My Beautiful Stutter
My Beautiful Stutter follows five kids who stutter, ages 9 to 18, from across the US and all walks of life. After experiencing a lifetime of bullying and stigmatization, these kids meet other young people who stutter at SAY: The Stuttering Association for the Young.
Their journey to SAY finds some close to suicide, others withdrawn and fearful, exhausted and defeated from failed fluency training, societal pressures to not stutter, or the decision to remain silent.
Over the course of a year, we witness firsthand the incredible transformation that occurs when these young people from different backgrounds experience the revolutionary idea at the heart of SAY for the first time: it’s okay to stutter.
